Base Camp Leasing has a 240- acre hunting lease available for immediate lease in Steuben County, New York. This hunting lease is in WMU (8X) and near Canisteo. The PA border is less than 20 miles from this hunting lease. I have not inspected this property yet - I will be inspecting it within the next 2 weeks and update description and pictures. The property breaks down into 150 acres of woods and 90 acres of fields and pasture. The property has good trail system, to include the woods per landowner. The landowner states the property has a great population of deer and turkey. Occasionally he also sees bears. As a bonus there are over 650 acres of stateland bordering south border. ATV use is allowed for hunting purposes only. Camping is allowed (get with landowner for parking spot of camper). The camper must be removed at end of deer season. Steuben County has been the hot spot for bucks per square mile and harvest for many years and it is also my most requested county by hunters. You will want to jump on this one quick, it will not last long as available!
